Festus is just a itchin' to get outta bed. He said he has a mind to come out and eat supper with the family tonight. I sure do hope he's not pushin' it. Bosephus is right. Festus ain't never been this down in his back before and I jus' don't want it to start all over agin. I best be gettin' to the kitchen and fixin' supper now. We's gonna have possum pot pie. Festus will surely get hisself outta bed for that!
