Thursday, September 06, 2001 I thought I'd never get back on this here contraption. We spent the whole dag burn day yesterday down at the welfare tryin' to get our check. Seems one of our snoopy neighbors saw ol' Festus putterin' with the hub caps on one o' the pick ups in the yard, then saw him go out to the road and pick up a 'coon someone done hit. Wouldn't ya know they reported him to the welfare?!?! Sakes alive! He's down in his back and all but he ain't paralyzed! Them hub caps did have to be changed and, for criminy sakes, we gotta eat and there ain't many things more tasty than fresh 'coon. Some people just need to learn to mind their own bees wax.
