We done had ourselves another fine time down to the county fair. Lots o' food, lots o' folks to look at. Festus done played some games and won me a stuffed cow. It's a right fine lookin' cow and who don't like cows? Bubba J done won Thelma Jo some prizes too. We all done come away from the fair smilin' an' happy.
Now I gots to thank some folks who been here readin' our ramblin's and tellin' other folks 'bout us. Big thanks to
Vikki Lynne. Ya know, there's a Vikki Lynne who works down to the diner. Wonder if it's the same lady. Probly not. The Vikki Lynne down to the diner has a right hard time even writin' down folks's orders right. I don't rightly think she could figure out how to work one o' these here contraptions.
Next we got Jamie at Cerebral Brie. I don't rightly know what them words mean but it might have somethin' to do with what she done wrote on that there page o' hers --- "brain cheese with a side of mental fries." Next time I see Thelma Jo I'll ask her to 'splain that to me. She done gots an educashun and can 'splain them things good.
Then we gots to thank Lou who done said our ramblin's is too good fer words. I gots to be wondrin' if she done made her name shorter. All the girls I know who's names is Lou is short fer somethin' long the lines o' Mary Lou, Betty Lou, Tammy Lou, Erma Lou. Round these parts it'd be mighty confusin' if someone just went and started callin' out the name o' Lou. But there I go ramblin' again. I'm just plum happy that she done likes what we's doin' here.
