I got me a email and someone asked "What's wrong with you people?" Well, I just figgered they didn't git round to readin all a our ramblin's and whatnot to find out, so I did my best to answer the qwestion. Then I figgered that since we got a heap a ramblin's and whatnot fer new visitaters to look thru, mayhaps I should just tell y'all what I done wrote in that there email just to help out the new folks that comes a callin. Anyhow, here it is:
Y'all must not a read all a our ramblin's and whatnot if y'all have to ask that there qwestion. But to save y'all the trubble a goin back and readin, I'll try to give y'all a qwik answer.
Ain't nuthin atall wrong with me and Thelma Jo 'ceptin ever once in a while I think Thelma Jo's puttin on airs and actin all high falutin on account a she's a good cook and winnin all them contests. I could be a good cook too if I had me a workin stove like she gots. It even gots all it's knobs and everthin!
As fer Festus Joe, well, he been down in his back off and on ever since the tragick cow-tippin ackcident down to the dairy. Ain't nuthin wrong with Festus Jr. no more neither. He used to have all kinds a sores on the bottoms a his feets on account a he don't got no shoes, but his feets got stronger and they's used to it now. Only thing wrong with Little King is that sometimes he gets a might depressed on account some folks don't take him serious as a Elvis impersonator on account a how little he is. He ain't a midget or nuthin. He's just small fer his age. Then there's Cletus T. Poor little feller. He's just like one a them boy in the plastic bubble kids ceptin he ain't gonna get no bigger. But he don't seem to mind. Least we never hear him complainin.
Now Bubba J ... only thing wrong with him is that he gets powerful tired from workin all them hours down to the army navy. But comin back down to the trailer park and stillin seems to relax him some. Bosephus? Well, that's another story. He's all the time got him some kind a rash or some other ailment. Y'all never know what he gets hisself into when he's workin down to the dump. Some folks thinks Scooter Ray gots something wrong with his head on account a he's one a them interior decorator types. But ain't nuthin atall wrong with him. He was just born that way. Jeb, a course, is the little stutterin boy. Down here to the trailer park, we don't think that means there's somethin wrong with him. His stutterin is what makes him speshul. The little missionary girl done tells him that all the time. Ain't nuthin wrong with her neither. She's just as cute as a bug's ear ... and smart too! Then there's Tanqueray and Lita Fay and Minnie Sue. Ain't nuthin wrong with them girls ceptin they likes the boys a little too much. They's gettin too old fer that though. They's 15 and it's about time they start thinkin bout settlin down with husbands.
